Personalised Armillary Spheres

Each hand built armillary sphere from Border Sundials is made from marine grade brass and engraved with your choice of mottoes. The sections are hand-rolled, riveted and welded together and your armillary sphere will be lightly antiqued and gun-oiled to preserve its natural beauty.

There's enough space for approximately 140 letters split between North and South hemispheres but more can be fitted if needed. There's even space on the inside of your armillary sphere for short mottos or names.

Border Sundials armillary spheres are available in diameters of 50cm to 100cm and are supplied with full installation instructions.

It is desirable - though not always essential - to arrange a site visit. Capel can show you an armillary sphere in your garden and take latitude and longitude readings. A small fee is charged for this service but is part refundable against the price of your armillary.
