Personalised Sundial Engraving Information

The engraving guidelines below are estimates only. If increased letter engraving is required please contact Capel to ask whether there will be enough room.

Note that Coats of Arms or company logos can also be added.

Horizontal Sundials have space for

• Line One - 30 characters
• Line Two - 30 characters
• Line Three - 20 characters
• Curved Line - 60 characters

Armillary Spheres have space for

140 letters split between the North and South hemispheres (more can be fitted on if needed)

There is also space available on the inside for short mottos or names.
