Important information
All of our Crescent sundials are made from solid marine grade brass.
The Crescent dial is 50cm in diameter, and the base plate is 25cm in diameter.
If you need more engraving or something specific such as a monogram or picture, please make a note in the comments box with your telephone number and we will contact you to discuss it.
We dispatch every Crescent sundial within 4-6 weeks. If you need a faster delivery please call us and we will do everything within our power to make it happen.
The dials are made for an exact location and will give an accurate time reading for any latitude, determined from the postcode.
Brass will slowly darken with age, adding to its beauty.

The Crescent dial creates interesting lines from every angle, the Crescent dial will bring an impressive focus to any garden. This sundial allows plenty of space to engrave personal thoughts and good wishes creating a very special gift that will last a lifetime. The Crescent dial is crafted from brass and aged to an antique golden colour. Each sundial is hand made bespoke and calibrated to your location to tell accurate time.
Engravings may be placed in any or all of the following places; the hour band, the four quadrants in the base of the dial and there is space for ‘destination arrows’ on the compass ring, around the outer edge of the base marking direction and distance to your special places in the world. Please see the photographs to understand your engraving options more fully.
We take great care to calculate the correct distance and direction to your chosen ‘destinations’, which could be: your childhood homes; where your family live; travel or holiday destinations.
Please put your ‘destinations’ in the box marked ‘Other’. We will always send you a preview of your engraving before making your Crescent sundial.
