armillary for their show garden for this year’s Chelsea Flower Show. What an buzz for me, and how exciting for David and Harry Rich, who had won a gold last year with their artisan garden, to be elevated to possibly the best spot on Main Avenue.   So I worked my socks off an made the monster 110cm armillary in double quick time, on top of my usual work and preparing my stand; for a while it seemed impossible, but as always it was alright on the night, and though I say it myself, my stand was beautiful.

The preview day on Monday was glorious weather and all the celebs were there; of course I didn’t recognise any of them, but this dapper gentleman was very polite about my sundials.   The judges obviously liked it too as they awarded me a 5 star award. This is getting a bit of a habit; the 3rd top award in 3 years. The pressure is on for next year!

Of course we mustn’t forget the Rich Brothers! Their show garden was a triumph and was on Televison every night, with my armillary centre stage.

 

Since Chelsea, the press have literally gushed over the Rich Brothers and my Armillary sphere has been seen by millions! This Sunday it was featured in the Mail on Sunday Magazine article ‘Band of Brothers
